Community Build Project
The project has created a purpose built combined centre to house a post office, village shop, work space, well being centre and ancillary services. The centre has secured essential village services alongside offering employment opportunities through the provision of work space and rental of well being facilities for alternative health businesses alongside a doctor’s surgery.
The centre is situated in the village of Blisland in North Cornwall. However the services provided will offer the wider population of the Trigg Ward on Bodmin Moor access to vital services. The diverse range of activities being incorporated within the site, combined, provide multiple revenue streams ensuring the long term viability for the not-for-profit community enterprise. The energy efficient centre will provide a new model for the provision of post office, retail and health facilities in rural areas.
