Business Advisory Service for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME’s)
This project is to fund one full time and one part time business advisor in the North Cornwall district to work from the Mid-Cornwall Enterprise trust to provide the following service to SME’s
- To identify SME’s within the project area that do not have a business plan
- To identify those SME’s that do not have the skills/resources to develop a business plan
- On contact to identify SME’s with issues such as:
- Training
- Skills Development
- Marketing
- Funding
- Finances
- Partners, contacts and networks
- Initiate proceedings to develop a business plan with/on behalf of the client.
The objectives of the programme are to:
- Increase the number of SME’s in North Cornwall who have a business plan
- Increase the number of SME’s in North Cornwall with skills to develop a business plan
- Increase the number of SME’s in North Cornwall with a training plan
- Increase the survival rate of new business
