Business Advisory Service for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME’s)
The aim of this project is to capitalize on a highly successful one-year pilot project for a further three years in order to continue to:
Increase the number of start up businesses in Restormel and the Support available to them to:
- Increase sustainable employment by SME’s in Restormel
- Improve survival rates of SME’s
- Increase turnover of SME’s
The projects main focus is to continue to increase the number of high quality business plans written and used by SME’s across Restormel. Business plans and financial projects are a mandatory requirement of funders and grant providers and, furthermore, are fundamental management tools that are key to the successful running of any business be it an SME micro-business (i.e. >5 employees) up to the largest, blue chip multi-national company.
The business advisor will continue to operate from Mid Cornwall Enterprise’s premises at St Austell Bay Business Park or at another suitable office. They will travel throughout Restormel district visiting SME’s
